Ugh -my punny brain is back!
Hello WordPressers! How are you doing? Hope good. Hope you’re staying dry. Hope most of you are seeing sunshine. I feel like it has been raining up in MA for weeks…cuz it has been! Arg. No worry though, life is still moving forward and it’s pretty good. So yay.
Compared to weeks past, this one has been a quiet one.. thanks be to G. Ammi’right? Let’s get into it!
School’s out for Summah!
Since we last chatted, our daughters ended school on Friday.

It’s hard to believe that our girls had their last day of school already. This marks the end of another academic year. These two smarties flourished beyond our expectations, making us proud. I am super excited for what their next year will bring. Our eldest is now a senior in high school, while our youngest has stepped into her sophomore year.
Time flies by so quickly! I am getting so old! 😂
Happy Father’s Day!
First let me extend warm wishes and heartfelt gratitude to all of you who are fathers. To the biological fathers, stepfathers, adoptive fathers, and those who have lost their fathers, hope your hearts are filled with love and cherished memories. To the single fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have stepped up to provide guidance and support, your dedication is truly admirable. And let’s not forget the fur baby dads, who show unconditional love to their beloved pets. Happy Father’s Day to all, hope you had a great weekend celebrating the immeasurable impact you have in everyone’s lives.
Sunday was a day of celebration as we honored the fathers in our lives on Father’s Day. We started off our day by visiting with my dad for a late breakfast. We brought over tiramisu and enjoyed a few hours with my family over there. Then we grabbed donuts and went to my father-in-law’s to enjoy more coffee over there!

After our sugar filled coffee rush we dedicated the rest of the day to my husband, appreciating and pampering him for the amazing father that he is. All he asked of me was to cooked a special dinner after a day spent with my dad and his. But of course we showered him with a ton of gifts, cause that’s what I do. It was heartwarming to see him enjoy the whole day feeling appreciated. He deserves the world for his dedication to me and our daughters. He truly is a #1 Dad! 😊
Pottery Class
On Monday, I went to my pottery class, excited for a night of creativity.
I showed up super early, at 4:20P! Our youngest daughter started her Summer rowing session and it’s at 4P, which brought me to class over an hour early. 🥸. I saw the class assistants going into the building and called out to them from my car;they were happy to bring me to the space earlier to get started. (I’ll be missing two classes in July so I figured to use the early time as make up).
To my surprise, our instructor was not there. She got stuck in some fog at an airport all afternoon, making it a free day for us to explore and experiment independently. The class turned out to be a bustling one, with everyone busy working on their own projects and happy to create on their own. I seized the opportunity to dive into my creativity.
I focused on wheel trimming three bowls, which was a lot of fun. I was in the wheel room alone the whole time and was very patient with myself. I did pretty good too! Look.

Then, I ventured into glazing, working meticulously on the three bowls and even a chicken that I had crafted earlier.
But the highlight of the day was the fern plate I made using the ferns I had collected from my yard. I had such a great experience a few weeks ago when I made a leaf plate that I wanted to give it a go again with the fern leaves. The plate looks promising -to good to be true. So I am crossing fingers it fires right!
I am so enveloped into these classes, I just love Mondays so much. With all of the artistic expression, it serves me.. as a source of solace and fulfillment, allowing me to escape from the busyness of everyday life. It really is just me and the clay. It’s such a beautiful thing. 😊
Ok I have to jet off soon!
I walk during my lunch break with my neighbor and it’s close to that time to meet her. It has been almost two months that I have been getting back to being active, started working out again and walking with my neighbor twice a week (I go on my own once). I’ve been eating better again and just finding joy in my life like I used to. Cataloging myself on my stories via IG -for accountability. I think covid lockdowns and all that affected me more than I realized.
But I’m back baby!!

Ok, NOW I gotta go! My neighbor just texted me that she is ready. Eek!
Well, thank you for stopping by to read, guys! Your support is very appreciated and I hope you have a great week ahead.
till next post xo!
