Hey Everyone,
So, to go along with my update from earlier .. this happened:
My husband’s exhibit is finally finished and is opening to the public June 28, which is tomorrow! He worked on it for about three years or so, and he made his mark on this design for sure.
The exhibit is very cohesive, colorful and beautifully put together. I could not be any prouder of him…and his team, and everyone involved in this amazing exhibit. I have seen drawings and most that was involved, but I never pictured it to be as wonderful as it is. There is so much to see, so much information about art, science, math and computational thinking AND how a CG film is made, it is fantastic! There’s so much movement in the space, a ton of film clips, tangible models and photo ops, that no one will feel bored.
If you are a Pixar fan in or around Boston, as I am, then you must go!! (But, it will be traveling all over the US after January!!)
This photo collage is of two events.. The first is of the exhibit opening June 23 for the MOS creative team and Pixar then following is the staff/family opening from June 26.
Grand Opening to Pixar and MOS team.. Speech by Ed Catmull, president of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios….I got to meet him. So nice!
so.. I was sorta celebrity shy, and snuck a pick of him at his table talking…
Then…. I said get over it and we ended up… talking to John Ratzenberger.. no big deal. Photo from MOS, Eric Workman
He let me take a selfie.. cuz that is what I do.
